The Larkfleet Group of Companies has been nominated for a prestigious international sustainable business innovation award by Cambridge Cleantech, the regional business community for sustainable businesses.
The annual awards are organised by the Global Cleantech Cluster Association (GCCA), a global membership grouping for cleantech cluster organisations of which Cambridge Cleantech is one.
This year the GCCA awards ceremony and conference is taking place in December in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA.
Karl Hick, CEO of The Larkfleet Group of Companies, said: “To be nominated for such a prestigious international award is an honour for Larkfleet. We’re looking forward to the results of the awards.
“I believe we are leading the way in showing how high environmental and quality standards can be introduced practically and economically to the highly competitive housing market and across all our companies.”
Nominated under the awards scheme’s Green Building category, Larkfleet’s entry will be judged on the clarity of its business strategy, innovation, concept and commercial potential of its green building and renewable energy technologies. Judges will also consider the mix of expertise and experience of its core team and how positive its impact on the environment is.
