Stroke Foundation Volunteer

The Stroke Foundation is a new not-for-profit charity that uses it’s expertise and experience to help raise funds and awareness for stroke sufferers.

We are looking for a volunteer with a medical background who is willing to work three days a week from our Bourne office to support our organisation. 

The role will include:

  • Raising awareness for the charity
  • Offering practical advice
  • Helping with money raising events
  • Becoming a recognised and respected individual in the community
  • Telephone support
  • Training and support will be offered where necessary

You will create an essential and satisfying role inside the charity by joining at this early stage.

The position will be gratifying by aiding those who have had strokes and preventing future ones. Although the position will be situated in our office in Bourne, Lincolnshire, it will also need some travel, usually within a 25 mile radius. Any costs incurred will be reimbursed. 

We may need to do a DBS check.

We have a passion to create support, awareness and raise money for stroke sufferers.
